Doing without
On Monday morning I decided I was going to skip out on caffeine for the whole week, at least to start. Call it part of my diet, but it was also driving by the fact that I've been waking up with headaches and wanted to see if this would help get rid of them.

Work wasn't to hard, I haven't been drinking any soda at work anymore, but I still had a couple cups of coffee each day. That was a bit harder to give up then I had expected. At home I tried to stick to water, which is okay, but still kind of bland.

For most of the week I stuck with juice at work, and water and or milk at home. On the whole I felt okay, no headaches, but no other changes. I'm going to keep this up for the next week to see how it goes.

It's nice to have one less thing I'm dependent on.

Hows it going? If your able to avoid coffee all together, your stronger than I!

I'll have coffee now and then, but it's once or twice a week, not twice a day.

I know it's been a while since this post, but I have suggestions, being one on limited caffeine intake, myself. :)

- Hills Brothers makes this wonderful coffee called "Half-Caff". My mother's drunk it since I was born (at least) and I grew up on the stuff since I like coffee. I've even found that fully caffeinated coffee does not-fun things to my insides. But, alas.

- Decaffeinated coffee is also pretty good.

- Low caffeine intake: tea. I prefer green (extremely low) or herbal (no caffeine) just for flavor. Lipton makes this really tasty Orange, Passionfruit, and Jasmine tea that I can blow through quickly. *grin*
