Wow, I'm still posting
What do you know, two posts from me in less then a week, I guess the it's time to have a parade.
This week has been pretty calm, even if here was another snow storm on Tuesday, that's two so far this month. It gets crazy out there, most people don't know how to drive, and the pedestrians just make it worse by ignoring every traffic law on the books.
At least I'm able to get to work without to much trouble, and coming home there was hardly any traffic.
I took another trip to the gym today before work, the first time being last Saturday. I had finally stopped aching from the first trip, so I felt it was time to try it again. I just have to keep it up, going two or three times a week, until it becomes a habit.
I'm starting light at the moment, spending a mix of time on the exercise bike, using the weight machines, and practicing my basketball skills. None of said skills will pay the bills, but I hope to get better as time goes on. The idea is that each trip I'm going to push everything just a little bit farther then before, and hopefully it will help.
The part that really bothers me is the locker room. It's larger, very large in fact, and there is a hot tub, sauna and showers. Even better, they is a separate 'family' locker room, so I don't have to deal with anyone under 16. It sounds nice, but as I said, it bothers me. It bothers me because it is a locker room.
You see, I've never been comfortable in the over all nudity present in a locker room. True, most people use towels, but there are a few that just go wondering around nude, and it bothers me. I never liked it, not in school, and not now, and I try to stay as covered as I can. I'll usual find a quite corner to change in, and hope no one is looking.
Even with that, I'm still planing to go again. It is kind of nice, and I like having something different to do. Helping with my weight is a nice plus as well.
